On December 14th, four years to the day of their first date, Carey & Robert were married in the Mount Timpanogos temple. The honeymoon took them to Islamorada, located centrally in the Florida Keys. 

Since then they have been focused on settling into their new life as a married couple and so far they are loving it!

In mid-January Robert was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer. The diagnosis came in response to a continued search for the source of his back pain. Finally his physical therapist recommended an x-ray, which lead to a MRI, the results of which started a battery of other tests and led quickly to a cancer diagnosis. While this is not the desired outcome we are thankful for the many prayers offered for Robert and feel confident in the Lord's help with his recovery.  Follow his treatment.

Little by little we are getting settled in together. Finding places for wedding gifts and all of Carey's belongings in what was Robert's bachelor condo has been a bit tricky, but we've added a few shelves and we are being creative. The next step is a few minor changes to the condo for comfort and a little uplift like perhaps new paint. If you have any ideas on home design, please let us know your suggestions. Thanks!
